Cabin Air Cowl Filters and Weather Guards for BMW E81/ E82/ E87/ E88/ E90/ E91/ E92/ E93/ X1 E84

Description

Removing the plastic cowl and HVAC filter housing of the BMW E8X/ E9X saves about 4.5 kg, improves engine bay cooling and access to the DME box, and lets the engine be heard. The cowl filters with weather guards take their place and keep dust, debris and water out of the interior ventilation system.

The filters are stainless steel and are cleaned by rinsing with water. The steel guards protect the filters while keeping the airflow smooth. Installation uses the factory bolt holes.
