Performance-enhanced turbocharger — a direct-fit Garrett PowerMax upgrade for Subaru models equipped with the 2.0L FA20F / FA20E direct-injection turbo engine.

The Garrett PowerMax turbocharger is designed as a direct replacement for the original Garrett unit, retaining the factory mounting points and connections while providing increased compressor airflow and greater performance potential.

This direct-fit, bolt-on turbocharger is supplied with a calibrated pneumatic actuator for straightforward installation. It is engineered to OEM-level standards for durability, reliability and long-term performance.

Compared with the original turbocharger, the PowerMax unit provides approximately 18% greater compressor airflow and supports up to 480 BHP / 353 kW. ECU calibration is required to fully utilise the increased airflow and performance capability.

Important: Compatible with Subaru vehicles equipped with the OEM Garrett MGT2259S / MGT2259LS turbocharger and FA20F / FA20E direct-injection turbo engines. It does not fit naturally aspirated FA20D engines used in Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S or Toyota 86 applications.

The maximum specified turbocharger speed is 185,000 RPM. Operation above this speed may result in turbocharger damage or premature failure.
