GARRETT 888169-5005S SUPER CORE - G45-1500

An exciting new addition to the G Series performance product line. G45 mid-frame turbochargers are engineered for 2.0L - 8.0L engine displacements and capable of supporting from 600 - 1500 horsepower. G45 provides a 24% increase in compressor flow and a 14% increase in turbine flow when compared to the GTX4508R turbo. Stainless steel turbine housings are available in T4 divided inlet configurations. 

• G45-1500 (previously 1550) compressor aero increases flow up to 18% (compared to GTX4508R 76mm)

• G45-1350 compressor aero increases flow up to 15% (compared to GTX4502R 72mm)

• G45-1125 compressor aero increases flow up to 10% (compared to GTX4502R 67mm)

• G Series turbine aero increases flow 14% (compared to GTX45R)

Horsepower comparisons for each G45 inducer size have been added to the sell sheet. Notably, 76mm has been updated from 1550 to the G45-1500. This was calculated from the compressor map data of the GTX4508R / GTX4502R to better represent the increase in performance in G45. GTX4508R uses an 80mm/108mm compressor wheel and through calculations we can estimate the performance of the new, smaller G45 sizes to produce more power than the GTX4508R turbo.

WARNING: Dear customer - G series turbochargers are highly efficient units that don't require a high boost for reaching its limits.  Please pay attention that maximum allowable turbocharger speed is 165krpm ( G series ) . The use of this product above max turbocharger speed is at the owner’s risk, and can result in damage and premature failure. To protect the turbocharger from overspeed when operating a speed sensor, part numbers  781328-0004 (single speed sensor that should be connected) or GARRETT G-SMART MODULE ( Module | Harness | Flange Speed Sensor G-Series ) must be fitted and monitored during fine and tune as well as with use of the unit. Missing of the sensors or RPM data will void  warranty on product.
